Robotic Arm.

Objective is to develop a robotic arm that can be controlled remotely with a cellphone app, collect items, and have 3 degrees of motion.

  • Team leader, organize and set deadlines, distribute workloads and subsystems.

  •  Programming of Bluetooth module to microcontroller (Arduino) and development and integration of cell phone apps to control the robot. Program the microcontroller to activate the motors.

  • Design a PCB shield for the microcontroller to control the motor with a high current capacity microchip.

  • Document, track, and report progress of project.

  • Integration of subsystems.

Smart Outlets Plug.

Objective was to develop a smart outlet that can be controlled from a cell phone that connects to the internet and dictate how device operates.

  • Programming of WIFI modules thru a cloud base system.

  • Programming of microcontroller (Arduino), shields, relays, and sensor integration.

  • Programming of cell phone applications to display sensor values.

Automated Sorting Machine.

Objective is to have a conveyor that transports products and a sensor that classify the items into different material, with the pass of each sensor, activating a boom conveyor to displace the item and fall into a bin.

  • LOGO by Siemens programming for PLC.

  • IndustryIO simulation implementation.

  • Virtual presentation.
